School’s Out Staffordshire Regiment Museum Trip

Schools Out club took a trip to Staffordshire Regiment Museum, where they explored the trenches and experienced what it was like during the war.

Whilst there, they looked around the memorabilia museum, looking at war time models and learning about the history behind different objects. They explored the bomb shelters, took cover and listened to the Blitz, as well as exploring the gun stations. Whilst in the German and English trenches, the children split into groups and re-enacted the war. Each child showed their respect by buying a poppy too.
