Nursery World Award Ceremony
We are incredibly proud to have been nominated as a finalist for the ‘Working with Babies and Toddlers’ category for our Baby Room Project in The Nursery World Awards 2019 and were very privileged to attend the awards ceremony in London. 🌟
We came second to East Sussex County Council with their Collaborative Research Project which encompassed 36 settings under the council’s umbrella. ☂️
The project highlighted the important role Baby Room practitioners play and how the work carried out with the Under Two’s lays the foundation of everything that follows.
It is so important that councils can carry out important research like this and share it with other local authorities as it allows smaller independent nurseries such as ourselves to benefit and integrate it into our practice.
To be a finalist alongside a local authority is a wonderful achievement for us at The Old Forge Day Nursery and we thank everyone for their support and good wishes and we are very proud of our Baby Room Project and all the staff that participate in it. ✨⭐️✨
