Healthy Living Week
We recently took part in a healthy living week, where the rooms took part in various activities throughout the week.
Our Healthy Living Week has been a huge success. The children really enjoyed taking part in different activities throughout the week.
Our overnight oats with fresh fruit were such a big hit with the children, we have decided to continue offering this as an addition to their usual breakfast. 🍓
Over the week the children made fruit ice lollies, smoothies and their own healthy tea. They all took part in a fitness class with Liz which involved yoga, aerobics and Pilates. We will continue these activities throughout summer too. ☀️
Pre-school drank a total of 12 litres of filtered water between them on Tuesday and talked about the water cycle and the importance of drinking plenty. Putting fruit into their drinking water had a positive effect on encouraging the children to drink more which is fantastic especially with this warm weather. 🥝 🍋
By the end of the week the children were learning about the importance of a good nights sleep and getting into a good bedtime routine. 💤
