World War One Centenary Celebrations
As a nursery we have taken part in a World War One week to celebrate a 100 years since the end of World War 1.
Happy Halloween 🎃
We had lots of fun celebrating Halloween and saw some amazing costumes. The children really enjoyed themselves taking part in some exciting, messy play activities such as pumpkin carving, dancing, baking and much more.
School’s Out First Aid 🚑

Schools Out club took a trip to Staffordshire Regiment Museum, where they explored the trenches and experienced what it was like during the war.
The Daily Mile 🏃♀️
As a nursery, we have started taking part in The Daily Mile. Every child within the nursery goes out each day in the fresh air to run or jog at their own pace for 15 minutes.🏃♀️🚶♂️
Derby Heights Care Home Pre-school Trip
Did anyone see the ‘Old peoples home for 4 year olds’ on channel 4 this week? It was so lovely and magical to see the children interacting with the residents of the care home. 🏡
